The cathedral was founded in the early 11th century under the Viking king Sitric Silkenbeard. It was rebuilt in stone in the late 12th century under the Norman potentate Strongbow.
Christ Church, Raukokore is strongly linked to the Whanau-a-Apanui people. Duncan Stirling built many churches in the East Coast and was subsequently married, in 1896, in this church. He married Mihi Kotukutuku, daughter of Maaka Te Ehutu and Ruiha Rahuta, Kaumatua of Whanau-a-Apanui. Stirling knew little Maori but reinforced the links between the Anglican Church and local Maori through his marriage and his skill as an architect/builder.
The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is a Russian Orthodox cathedral in Moscow, Russia, on the northern bank of the Moskva River, a few hundred metres southwest of the Kremlin. With an overall height of 103 metres (338 ft), it is the tallest Orthodox Christian church in the world.

A sculpture in the Christchurch Greyfriars Church Garden commemorating Christ’s Hospital School’s 350 years presence in the City of London, 1552-1902, was unveiled on 6 November 2017 by Alderman Sir Alan Yarrow (former Lord Mayor and member of the School’s governing Council). The sculpture, by Andrew F. Brown was selected following an open competition run by The City of London Corporation. The finished bronze, cast at The Bronze Age Foundry in London, is 2.4m long and 1.5m high and is mounted on the wall of the garden.
This is one of the many doors of the deanery at Christ Church college in Oxford, United Kingdom. I really liked the colour palette of the scene as well as the detail of the door and its frame.
This mid-19th century church was built on the site of an earlier 14th century church which fell to ruins. Christ Church is a Neo-Norman church built in 1845 by architect Benjamin Ferrey.
The church is Grade II listed.

Christ Church is a Grade II listed building in the Shropshire village of Tilstock. This parish church was built in 1835 of red brick.

This beautiful church, one of my favorite places, was built by Anson Greene Phelps Dodge. Christians have worshipped here since Charles Wesley's time; Wesley was part of General James Oglethorpe's party that landed here in 1736. (Oglethorpe's Fort Frederica, built to protect the new colony from the Spanish in St. Augustine, FL, is nearby.) Union forces destroyed the church during the Civil War. A very young Dodge resolved to rebuild the church and produced this Gothic Revival structure. He became the new church's first pastor and is buried in the churchyard. Christ Church Cathedral is the Anglican cathedral of the Diocese of New Westminster and one of Vancouver's oldest religious structures. It is located in the heart of downtown, at the corner of Burrard and West Georgia Streets, nestled among modern glass skyscrapers. Built in the Gothic style and formally dedicated in 1895 (designated a cathedral in 1929), it stands out for its architectural contrast with the surrounding environment.
The interior features notable wooden elements, including a dramatic hammerbeam ceiling made of old-growth Douglas fir and cedar. The cathedral is a key place of worship, but also hosts a wide range of cultural events, such as choir and chamber music concerts, leveraging its excellent acoustics.

The cathedral was founded in the early 11th century under the Viking king Sitric Silkenbeard. It was rebuilt in stone in the late 12th century under the Norman potentate Strongbow, and considerably enlarged in the early 13th century, using Somerset stones and craftsmen. A partial collapse in the 16th century left it in poor shape and the building was extensively renovated and rebuilt in the late 19th century, giving it the form it has today, including the tower, flying buttresses, and distinctive covered footbridge.

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️
