There is a lot of Christmas cheer at Højbro Plads in Copenhagen when both Danish and foreign handicrafts, Danish gløgg and German glühwein, currywurst, apples, pancakes, Italian cheeses, Italian cookies, design, chocolate, fur, caps, hats, thousands of Christmas lights and beautiful Christmas houses fill good on the many stalls on the square.

Net zoals vorig jaar rijd de VSM de Christmas Express vanuit Arnhem. Dit jaar gaat de retourslag naar Nijmegen. In de ochtend was nog zon voorspelt dus met goede moet werd er naar Elst gereden. In de eerste en gelijk ook de laatste zonnestralen van de dag kom de VSM 23 071 langs de 5 fotografen op de Notenlaan brug onderweg vanuit Nijmegen naar Arnhem.

Yes, it's a zoom-burst of a Chrismas tree. I didn't even move the tripod compared to the other shot.

The difference between those two is:

- No additional flash used here, so the tree remains basically invisible

- Higher f-stop

- As a little extra, I stopped the rotation of the zoom-ring 8 times during the 20s-exposure, in order to get the articulated little dots in the lines

- Slided white-balance and contrast for achieving the blue tones
