I did a grocery shopping this morning and picked up a couple of bags of Salt Free Kettle Chips, my favourite. I paired them with some Tzatziki Dip. This dip has its origins in the Ottoman Empire. It was yummy!
This Royal Doulton miniature figure has unfortunately received a chip on his top hat. Interestingly I had never noticed the freckles on his face until I took this close up.
I used window light and A4 silver card reflectors.
I may or may not have enticed this little feathery thing with a hot chip to get close to the camera.

I struggled to find any sunshine to make this small prism really shine! Just over an inch long, with a chip out of the corner! It still works just fine for shooting glass abstracts ;o)

Macro Mondays theme "Styling food on a fork" and I decided to make myself and my son a lunch of Chips, Sausage and Peas.
A few photos later and it all soon disappeared.
Smoked mackerel, kumara (sweet potato) chips, and peas. A bit of tomato sauce and mayo for interest.
Magic cookie bar with chocolate chips, walnuts and coconut that I only make for holidays.

dhal curry alongside chips, courgette, salad of finely cut celery, spring onion and lettuce garnished with pickled sweet pepper, all seasoned with chilli powder and salt
dhal was a portion taken from a batch made on sunday

reheated with a small pot of defrosted whey strained from the homemade yoghurt when recently made
spirallized courgette was microwaved on a low setting - defrost
my microwave has two settings cook and defrost
my chips were soggy on sunday so decided to have another go
reasons for failure
my oil wasn't hot enough and too many chips in the pan
today much better thank goodness :)

Macro Monday theme: Sweet Spot Squared
Nothing sweeter than a hot homemade chocolate chip cookie.
My camera/lens sweet spot seems to be F8.
it took a while before they are trusting you but when they do the whole cam, the inside of the lenshood and the front element from the sigma was getting an accurate inspection ;-)
