A small potato chip. I absolutely love them and with some good dip I love them more.
Happy Macro Monday.

Sometimes Meri wants what seagull has... maybe he'd consider a swap? More on the blog readmeri.wordpress.com/2020/05/08/i-want-chips/
The edge of a glass vase, but I can't bring myself to throw it away so try to disguise it usually!
For Macro Mondays "chip".

Today's lunch! One of the staple foods in England, Fish and Chips is a common take away food. One can find Fish and Chips shops in almost every town/city in the UK.
HMM!
He loves everyone, rarely barks, smart like a fox, and will fetch to you give up. He weighs 4 1/2 pounds, and about one hundred pounds of personality.
A flick of the head and the mouth full of wood chips are scattered in the wind. Male Pileated Woodpecker building a new nursery :-)
Tortilla chip surface texture.
Illumination: grazing light from LED spotlight.
Lens: 100 mm macro with 68 mm extension tubes.
the macromonday theme for 5/22 is chip(s). this is one possibility.
this shell is just a little over a 1/2 an inch. took probably 40 pictures of shell pieces. the little canon 870 p&s does great close-up shots :)
These mushrooms are known by their red tops and that is what drew me to it, but it’s cute little top was tilted just like the mushroom in Disney’s Fantasia.

Chip is a chipmunk. Until today I might have said that we don't have chipmunks in Kamloops because I'd never seen one. Today however I saw lots scampering around on one side of the Rivers Trail by the airport.
Info courtesy Encyclopedia Britannica:
Chipmunk, (genus Tamias), any of 25 species of small, striped, terrestrial squirrels with large internal cheek pouches used for transporting food. They have prominent eyes and ears, a furry tail, and delicate claws. All are active only during the day, and all but one are North American, occurring from southern Canada to west-central Mexico. Body length among most species ranges from 8 to 16 cm (3.1 to 6.3 inches) and tail length from 6 to 14 cm (2.4 to 5.5 inches).
Sweet potato, naturally blue potato, candy striped beet, parsnip, taro, yuca, batata. With sea salt.
Happy Macro Monday - this weeks theme - Chip(s). This is a small glass pebble as used for a plant topper - chipped to bits! Glass Chips :))
NECR 500 departs Saint Albans with a short train loaded with woodchips. These cars are heading for Burlington Electric, where they will be burned to make electricity. There's lots of woodchip by rail shipments supporting the paper industry, but this is the first time I've encountered chips being used for energy generation - definitely an interesting operation. Leading the way is NECR 437, a former Florida East Coast engine.
Macro Monday's Theme: Balance
Symmetrical balance of the striping of the poker chips and the center red chip visually balances the stack - HMM
Chippy, sadly no longer with us, broke my heart losing this little fella but bought me so many smiles with his antics, always loved.
We were watching the sun set while waiting for fish and chips at the Horrocks Store, only to turn around and see the full moon rising. A great accompaniment for dinner!
notice anything about the pattern in the chipped paint on this wooden cat's nose? i didn't until i got it up on the laptop screen!!
this is one possibility for the macromonday theme for 3/11 for imperfection.
#MacroMondays and #imperfection
its nose is less than a half an inch from side to side
Sarah and I are very sorry to let you know that Chip has passed today, he did not suffer at all.
We told him to head towards the rainbow bridge but Chip being Chip was last seen headed for the beach instead.
We are both heartbroken and his loss will follow us always, however we have tried to give the little fella the best life we possibly could, he has been loved as much as any dog has ever been loved.
