Between balance and butterflies — a day full of laughter at the houseboat.
Valerie watches with wide eyes as I try to keep my balance on the skateboard — somewhere between actual skill and total chaos. Between our little private “Orient Express” and the pool that has already given us so many relaxed moments, calm suddenly turns into pure action.
One wrong move, a quick wobble — and with every second, Valerie worries more that either I or the garden furniture won’t survive this :)
But that’s exactly what makes this moment so special: the spontaneous silliness, the laughter, those tiny adrenaline rushes, and the feeling of simply being together in the here and now.
Sometimes it’s exactly these crazy, imperfect moments that turn into the most beautiful memories ♥
Campfire restrictions in late August. Labor Day weekend near McCloud, CA. Small campground, free camp site and snow melt flowing water. Paved access, just a few camp sites and a new toilet. Dirt Road #39N06 continues on past the NFS camp.

So today Josh and Mike came ._.
They decided not to tell me what time they were gonna come. But Mike was texting me basically trying to make me think they weren't coming yet. Then I get a text from Mike at like 12:30 "white car white van" and I was thinking "I have those ... but how the heck would he know ?" then I look outside and I see them, and I'm just like wowowowow okay they're dumb ! Survived the day with 3 hours of sleep ? awheriuahwer !
So I run to go change out of the pajama pants, then I just throw on shorts, and go outside to say hi. They came in and we just sat inside for a little.
Then we went to Target -> CPK -> Movies -> Mall -> Starbucks -> Best Buy -> then they took me home.
Hangover was a funny movie x] and Josh was covering my eyes at the end lolol.
Ahem, Mike is a quiet shy child, and likes to dream about driving past bushes ?
