I wrote this poem for someone that I once knew who was a victim of domestic violence.

*Though some of you know me as a fellow Pullip ♥'r, I am also a Young Adult novelist. My current project is called: Me, Jayne, & The Thing.
My deadline is rapidly approaching and I'm finding it difficult to balance both creative passions, photographing my girls and writing. Because constantly thinking about what my girls want to do for their next photoshoot is such a draw on my creativity, I do not have what I need to focus on my project 24/7.
It is with a very heavy heart that I must take a short break from my photos to revive my creativity. I am still available by fm and chat, should anyone want to drop a smile my way and I will still come by to comment on your amazing pics.

Introduction of Me, Jayne, & The Thing:
Twisted-tight. That’s how I’d describe me and Jayne—inexplicably inseparable. Issues? Sure we had 'em but where one was, the other was most likely super-glued to her side—except in some pretty effed-up instances, but we’ll get to that. Needless to say, she was always around when I needed her and I can’t remember many days that I wasn’t tucked up in her room, hiding from my semi-orphaned life . . . but Jayne hid too. Her parents—Mom and step-jerk—were uppity schmancy-pants kinda people and they never would’ve considered my house, a double-wide about four and a half miles away, as a place where Jayne would run for refuge.
Was it an obsession I had with Jayne? You might call it that, but I kinda have to laugh at the idea because it wasn't so much a fixation, as it was that if I wasn't around her, my life ceased to exist in one way or another.
While the same secret that bonded us also had the power to splinter us, I innately knew the only way Jayne would ever be able to move beyond was if she learned to stand alone. It was a double-edged exposition; one that would hurt going in and would dismember our relationship on its way out . . . but that was the entire reason for my existence—to bring darkness to light and help Jayne learn to play dress-up with her skeletons.
It’s a crappy story, but coincidence can be kind and as much as this tale deserves to have its legs tied together and drop-kicked from the hatch of a VW bus on the freeway, Jayne deserves some kind of understanding for what she faced during our friendship. At times beautiful and at times horrifying, this is the story of Me, Jayne, & The Thing.
Disclaimer: If the thought of bothersome big brothers, a little bit of blood, or things that go bump in the night, makes you squeamish, it’d probably be a safe bet for you to set this down and go back to reading picture books. Still reading? Okay . . . but don’t say I didn’t warn you up front, cuz it’s a real sucky road trip with no pee pad for the Maltepoo.
A long overdue Child Sexual Abuse Act was passed recently in the Maldives. It contains sentences of up to 25 years for those convicted.
But under Article 14, if an adult is "legally married" to a child under Islamic Sharia, the offences specified in the Act will not be considered a crime.

the angry violent monster...

clear across a room...
The man who harboured animosity towards me
because I “took his life away from him”
(as if I asked to be born)
became the man that I
always wished he would have been
when we would meet in the dream realm
...And now...
he comes to me in the dream realm more often
And there is no fear
And there is no anger
There is only the question

From the Register Guard (our local Eugene newspaper) dated 2015. After a 27-year run that raised more than $5 million for local charities, the Great Rotary Duck Race in Eugene is no more.
Adding, an interesting tidbit also from the Register-Guard. Jim Torrey, a former Eugene mayor and longtime Rotarian, told The Register-Guard in 2007 that the club initially had ordered 20,000 ducks from a Chinese manufacturer, but when they arrived at U.S. customs, officials sliced them open to look for drugs.

Teens are in an abusive relationship. And I've received a couple secrets regarding this subject and I'm not sure what else to do about it than to bring attention to it.
"I'm in a verbally abusive relationship with my girlfriend. She always tells me God is nonexistant and I'm a dumbass for maintaining a relationship with Him. She always putting me down, telling me how worthless I am. And since I'm a guy, there's nothing I can do."
"I love my mom even though she abuses me mentally and physically everyday. She constantly harasses me, yet I still feel the need to be by her side when she has a problem. So my secret is I just wish she would love me back."
"It's almost as if there are two sides to me. On the outside, around friends, family, etc, I'm a happy and outgoing person without a care in the world. But that's simply a facade for the true status of my being. My father abused me physically for 2 years of my life before leaving my mother and leaving my life. He made me feel like I deserved to be beaten, like I had screwed up my life so much that I didn't deserve to exist. I've been mistreated by many other people in my life and just flat out beaten down emotionally. Nobody would know it because I never let anyone know about my problems. I keep them to myself and I try to ignore them, hoping they'll go away. But they don't. There's a rift between my two halves, I feel as if they are barely the same person. So yeah, I've got a secret. On the inside I'm scarred and broken and torn apart and and not a soul in the world knows it. Besides you."

And if you look at the children's faces, you can see they are not nearly as excited about this as their...dads?
Those children are trapped, paying for the sins of their fathers. They are, like so many sidekicks, doomed to the same fates as their mentors.
Look closely, and see the anti-life equation behind their eyes.
That or it's just a good ol' family trip to buy some funny books and see some pretty ladies in great outfits.
These children were selling the catch of their fathers. Aren't they suppose to be in school? Where is the fundamental right to education that is promised by the constitution?
The government tenants are the worst blind as they have opened eyes but yet they cannot see. Pathetic as they have the hearts but they don't beat specially for the poor.

The condition of the woman is reported to be "critical". Delhi has one of the highest rates of crime against women in India. The new Indian census(2011), which put the population at 1.2 billion, has revealed an alarming trend. Rising incomes only seem to accelerate gendercide – the evocative term for the selective abortion of girl foetuses. There were 945 girls per 1,000 boys in the 1991 census, 927 in 2001 and now 914. It's now a crisis and we need to move beyond just acknowledging the issue.The PC & PNDT Act 1994 prohibits any form of sex-determination practise and sex-selective abortion.
According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) of India; 89,546 cases of cruelty by husband and relatives; 21,397 cases of rape; 11,009 cases of sexual harassment and 5,650 cases of dowry harassment were reported in India during the year 2009.

I'm sure with all the people who've walked by or worked near this stuff left behind someone surely would have looked into it. It was covered by the green tarp to the right at some point.. Note the three cigarette butts under the bench. They left themselves there.

It’s not true that, those who are lived in brothel they are always spending life like in hell. They do fun together at day time doing funny staff. This two are not in the mood to talking with me, just able to know her name “Hasina”.
Their most busy time stated 5:00PM to mid night 1:00 or 2:30 AM. Besides that, most of the time they spend by sleeping.

The new Indian census(2011), which put the population at 1.2 billion, has revealed an alarming trend. Rising incomes only seem to accelerate gendercide – the evocative term for the selective abortion of girl foetuses. There were 945 girls per 1,000 boys in the 1991 census, 927 in 2001 and now 914. It's now a crisis and we need to move beyond just acknowledging the issue.The PC & PNDT Act 1994 prohibits any form of sex-determination practise and sex-selective abortion.

The build of Sharni Azalee at OBR in SL 2018 is pure and powerful. Intertwined female and male figures, tension and fear, and oh-those-very-familiar phrases imprinted in the pavement, „You ALWAYS do that!”, „It won’t happen again!”, „It didn’t hurt that much!”… and that anxious heartbeat in the background.
I was unable to pick an angle to photograph… until I caught sight of those two small pale figures semi-hidden behind some crates.
Then, literally in a heartbeat, I knew what picture to take. The image of the real victims here. A boy and a girl, with their bodies just developing and growing, yet their facial expressions being the perfect reflection of the twisted wrinkles of an ageing and bitter man, and his equally bitter and desperate female companion.
Take care of your children. They will carry the burden of your life, your unresolved issues, your fears and your ambitions... unless you take care of yourselves soon, and lighten the weight your darlings are to shoulder for the rest of their lives.
