This image was created from multiple exposures blended together in Photoshop CS6 layers using the "Lighten" blend mode. All exposures were taken with a single Paul C. Buff Einstein strobe with a 22" beauty dish attached to a Elinchrom boom arm. If you send me a FlickrMail message, I'll be more than happy to send you some information on mostly how I photograph this style and what equipment I use, along with some YouTube video links that help explain this process.

The Chevrolet Camaro is an automobile manufactured by Chevrolet, classified as a pony car and some versions also as a muscle car. It went on sale on September 29, 1966, for the 1967 model year and was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. The car shared its platform and major components with the Pontiac Firebird, also introduced for 1967. Four distinct generations of the Camaro were developed before production ended in 2002. The nameplate was revived on a concept car that evolved into the fifth-generation Camaro; production started on March 16, 2009. [source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Camaro]

Chevy Camaro..
A beautiful 2017 Chevy Camaro SS Loaded to the nines and roaring to go... this fully customized beast has a 6.2-liter LT1 V-8 making 455 hp. it roars when pushed and purrs when idling.
The licences plate gives away the true monster that lurks under this cool exterior.. it has an innate need for speed. coupled with an unquenchable thirst for gas that will drain a modest bank account.

A 2010 Chevy Camaro SS parked on Preston Street in Ottawa.
I prefer new Camaros to have the optional factory stripes, but, if I had to choose one in a solid colour, this slate grey looks awesome, at least when it's waxed enough to be super-reflective.
Coincidentally, this Camaro was parked in the exact same parking spot where I took still photos of the Ferrari California last June, the spot in front of the Starbucks Coffee and the entrance to the Preston Square office complex.
(This is my first 2010 photo to make it to Flickr Explore! Thanks for the faves!) :-)

1966 Camaro…
From the archives;
A finely crafted automobile the 1966 Camaro is a true classic car. Originally purchased in California then imported into Canada in 1990 after many years of neglect. This 1966 Camaro was repainted in royal blue and according to the owner has been lovingly restored to its former glory.

Local favorite for the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway on June 20, 2021 was Daniel Suarez driving the #99 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet Camaro sponsored by Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, a local and tourist favorite on South Broadway in Downtown Nashville, TN. Interesting as well is the fact that Trackhouse Racing is also headquartered right here in Nashville and in their first year of competition in NASCAR. The #99 managed a very respectable 7th place finish in Nashville sporting the hometown colors.

I created this for a design competition in 2005 before the actual Camaro concept was revealed in January.
