Parmesan is an Italian hard, granular cheese made from cow's milk and aged for at least 12 months.
It is named after two of the areas where it is produced, the provinces of Parma and Reggio Emilia. In addition to Reggio Emilia and Parma, it is also produced in the part of Bologna west of the river Reno and in Modena

Theme: Cheese
Size: Less than 3x3 inches
We don't eat a lot of cheese but I found a packet of Tasty cheese in our fridge.
I warmed a few strips of the Tasty cheese in the microwave and while it is still warm I pulled at it to produce stringy cheese.
I manage to attached the stringy ends to the base of two spoons that are placed slightly apart.
The subject looks like a bacteria with filaments !
The only light source is natural light through the window. I used a green cloth for the background.
Many thanks for your visit, comments and faves...it is much appreciated..

I decided to do a mix Up of Food & Fun. My tiny sportsmen are huge fans of sports and especially love Skating with their rollerblades. Cause of the lockdown they had to find alternative indoor solutions to keep up their practice. Look what kind of Inline skatepark they found - some slices of cheese. :)

Well, there is much to do in Kos, Greece. Especially when you are interested in archaeology. But we went on this holiday to recover from a energy dip. So what did we do? Not much. But; I have seen those archaeological sites some years ago and I can surely say, it is gorgeous when one is interested in it, and I can surely recommend it.
And for now? We stayed in a good and very big all inclusive resort, and they have plenty of food there, so guess what? Here is our first food upload from our Greek holiday 2019, cheese. An arrangement of Emmental cheese with red grapes.
.....well yoghurt cheese clothe anyway. We use this to make "suzme" or "labneh" (Middle Eastern cuisine) commonly known as yoghurt cheese. It is heavenly....though I'm sure not at all good for the thighs or cholesterol levels!!
To misquote the Eurythmics:
"Sweet dreams are made of cheese.
Who am I to disagree?"
