Blueberry took up a commanding position on the newel post this morning. We were rearranging the kitchen and this enabled her to keep an eye on what was going on from some distance.
Just checking it was safe to bring the babies out. She brought them out and right up to where I was behind all the grasses and rushes. Cullaloe
We got a lot of stuff this week! :D Super Excited to see the 2 pack of MF and GNO 4pack earlier than in the US!
We had the same driver/guide for our whole visit who was most obliging when it came to stopping to take photos. This is the first place he took us at the start of our tour. Negombo is a town just outside of Colombo which is a popular resort but also a major fishing area. This family were one of several along the beach checking the nets after the men had returned from a fishing trip, Mr Crow was supervising it all

Yet graffiti shot. I saw this earlier and I wanted to get a shot of it on my way back home. It looked better when I initially went past it, but I still like it.
If you look at the bottom, you can see me throwing up the deuce. I think it adds a personal touch..or maybe I'm just a narcissist that needs to be in every picture somehow.

I’ll be selling some of my 100,000 images on there,
Initially just screen savers, eventually Larger Prints (check back)

Been a month or so since I posted, so thought I'd check in and let folk know I'm still around (just). Not a lot going on, social life mostly in the toilet, work the same old, but otherwise life goes on.
Yep I'm still as cheery and positive as ever.
Visitors to the reconstructed site of old Dejima at Nagasaki, Japan, check their devices for messages.
I was just checking the flares and bokeh this lens produces when the Sun is in our field of view.
Picture taken in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid, Spain, using a Nikon Z8 camera and a 7Artisans 35mm F1.4 lens attached for full-frame cameras, which has no connection pins with the camera, therefore some of the metadata information is either incorrect or does not appear.

Had another opportunity this week to help students with a project on crossdressing/transgender issues. The more awareness the better, I say! 😊
This meeting was early in the day, so in the late afternoon I met up with a friend. And since last Wednesday was a beautiful day, we walked to the city centre. And also did a bit of shopping!
Didn't buy anything in this store, but they did have a mirror! 😉

A CSX track geometry train pulls past the Baltimore Terminal headquarters in Halethorpe back in 1988. The former Seaboard System/Family Lines/Clinchfield F-units were the darlings of CSX for a while in the beginning.
It's a fair bet that today I would not be allowed to stand here to photograph a train even if I still had my get out of jail card from Officer Friendly.
The F unit fleet soon fell out of favor and would wind up being sold off. Today the classic 118 is painted as a Western Maryland motor for the West Virginia Central and the modern CSX 118 is just a GE AC4400CW.
Thanks for all your comments and faves, much appreciated.
