Wednesday, October 15, 2025 - University School of Milwaukee parents attended Parent University to learn from USM’s outstanding faculty. Sessions covered topics such as college admissions, making math engaging, and the role of AI chatbots in education.

Gisteren reisde ik met de trein (tweede klas) terug van Amsterdam naar Groningen. Twee overstappen, drie treinen, drie keer koos ik voor de stilte-coupé, lekker lezen, heerlijk rustig. En drie keer was er simpelweg onduidelijkheid over dat we in een stilte-coupé zaten. En om heel eerlijk te zijn: ik begrijp het wel, met die chique maar ook niet zo heel erg opvallende stickers op de ramen. Kunnen we hier niet iets aan doen? Mailen naar de NS is geen optie meer, chatten met chatbot Joep leidt nergens toe en zo'n lieve conducteur suggesties meegeven, lijkt me ook nogal vermoeiend (voor hem of haar). Bij deze een suggestie voor de NS en een idee voor hoe we de NS en elkaar als stilte-lievende reizigers eventueel een handje kunnen helpen. Spoiler: zelf SILENCE-stickers plakken.
