The fun before the fun. The Pennsylvania Southern is a small Shoreline with some awesome things to offer.
When the fire department shows up for the photo shoot, good things happen. When the front of the fire truck says US Army, even better things happen.
As the sun was setting, I found this field behind a church in Chambersburg, PA to grab this shot.
I used the hyperfocal distance method to focus this single image.

A single shot image of the fountain at Memorial Square located in the center of Chambersburg, PA. This evening hour shot was taken with my one of my Sigma prime lenses.
Headquarters to my employer, American Print Consultants, Chambersburg is within 30+ minutes of historic downtown Gettysburg.
Civil War remnants are popular throughout this region and the historic homes and buildings offer a small insight to what it was like during this time period in our nations history.

Well, Spring Break was a family trip out east to see Civil War things and a baseball game at West Virginia. That didn't mean we didn't do any training stuff; it was just limited in time and location. We, however, did see some neat stuff.
One of those things was chasing around the Letterkenny Industrial Park near Chambersburg on Monday morning, doing the Pennsylvania Southern. They have done a sweet-ass job painting their set of switchers up in patriotic colors. The 1st task of the day was to pull some empties out of the Franklin Logistics customer.

IceFest is an annual winter festival in downtown Chambersburg Pennsylvania which displays about 70 ice carvings on and around the historic town square and includes a chili cook off. Print size 8x10 inches.

This was a team effort, my wife shot the photo and I edited using various software programs. Leshers is a 170 acre field of 1.75 million sunflowers in Chambersburg Pennsylvania grown for sunflower-seed oil and birdseed. Print size 8x10 inches.
