A view of White Bay in Sydney, as Anzac Bridge is drawn into the city centre.
Sydney has an abundance of charisma about it, and never ceases to amaze me what beauty lies within.

It's Sydney from Cremorne Point.
One of my favourite sunset locations on the harbour.
And, as always, the city across the harbour is 'working day and night', lol.
SO here's Michael Jackson to liven up your day with his groovy, uptempo, track from the 1979 album 'Off The Wall':

Turn the volume up on your Spotify, lol.
The city photographed from the headland at Cremorne Point, just above the wharf and near the Robertson lighthouse. The ferry on the harbour is heading to Circular Quay, having just departed from Cremorne Point Wharf on the Mosman Bay service - one of the best ferry journeys on Sydney harbour!!

Another photo of Centre Point, a Grade 11 listed landmark skyscraper in central London. Refurbished in 2017/2019. Original architect: George Marsh of R. Seifert and Partners. Original construction completed in 1966.
A photo from my 'Sight Lines' solo architectural photography exhibition, held in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire from 12th October to 19th November 2021.
Wikipedia
Took this photo of Sydney Tower from the museum near William Street just before the start of the 2018 “City to Surf” half marathon.
Centre Point is a building in Central London, comprising a 33-storey tower; a 9-storey block to the east including shops, offices, retail units and maisonettes; and a linking block between the two at first-floor level. It occupies 101–103 New Oxford Street and 5–24 St Giles High Street, WC1, with a frontage also to Charing Cross Road, close to St Giles Circus and almost directly above Tottenham Court Road Underground station.
The building is 117 m (385 ft) high, has 34 floors and 27,180 m2 (292,563 sq ft) of floor space. Constructed from 1963 to 1966, it was one of the first skyscrapers in London. It stood empty from its completion until 1975 and was briefly occupied by housing activists in 1974. Since 1995 it has been a Grade II listed building. In 2015 it was converted from office space to luxury flats.
It's late afternoon on Sydney Harbour.
The Cockatoo Island ferry is passing by the Walsh Bay Wharf Precinct on its way to Circular Quay.
This ferry has come from Cockatoo Island, Woolwich, Birchgrove and Balmain. This is the F8 ferry service.
I have actually taken this photograph with my Canon EF 75-300mm zoom lens from miles away on the northern side of the harbour at the Berrys Bay Lookout - at the end of Larkin Street, in Waverton. Not far from McMahons Point.
So you can zoom in to see the details on the city buildings, plus all the historic piers that comprise the Walsh Bay Wharf Precinct. This, btw, is the precinct from which I take a lot of my harbour sunset images.

Centre Point between old and new buildings at the top of Charing Cross Road and around the back of Central St Giles. What can be called a Christmas Tree I guess, can be seen lit up at the bottom. This was during the freezing cold spell when the evenings and nights were crystal clear and sub zero. Taken with a wide angle lens.
Centre Point, London
After completion in 1966 was left empty for many years since the owner wanted a single tenant. Then for 33 years was the headquarters of the Confederation of the British Industry. It has been converted in a residential building now.
I can never bore of the wonders of Centrepoint. The geometric wonders, the concrete, the way is stands proud and tall at the end of Oxford Street - the way it stood unloved for so so long. Geographically Charring Cross is the centre of London - but for me it's always Centrepoint - I mean - come on - it's in the name.

Sydney Tower is Sydney's tallest structure and the second tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere. The name Sydney Tower has become common in daily usage; however, the tower has been variously known as Centrepoint Tower and AMP Tower, and colloquially as Flower Tower, Glower Tower, and Big Poke.
