I spent almost the whole November in Antarctica on a mission to shoot the polar landscapes and give presentations to a group of photo hobbyists. This is not a ship dedicated to do photography, so I squeezed my time everywhere, on the deck, on zodiacs, and on kayaks, with my Pentax 645Z, my Nikon D800 and even with my ZTE cellphone. This picture was shot from a kayak trip with my ZTE cellphone, it may be not high-res, but it renders every details of the iceberg very well, another example of low end equipment with excellent result.

Those idle phone kiosks are probably like "Don't come running to us when you lose your cellphone"

I brought my Passion Flower plant indoors... and she gifted me with this beautiful flower!!!
I've had this plant for at least 8 years!
Still waiting for him cat tree to arrive, but in the meantime, I brought this tower in the den... he squeezed into the top cubby!!

From Charlotte's birthday party.... the snow came down much sooner than expected... it was beautiful snow... heavy and wet... great for making snowmen... but not driving in it...
This morning I see we got around 5-6 inches.... that is clinging to everything!! Later on we'll venture out and tackle digging out...
