The Manor Class of steam locomotives are celebrating an anniversary this year. This weekend marks 50 years since the last days of ‘Manor’ steam locomotives worked on the Cambrian network.

Almost every day in June, Cusco has some form of celebration/festival going on. It's the best time of year to experience Peruvian culture, a mix of Inca tradition and Spanish colonisation.
As I said previously, I’ve been walking for miles and discovered some great spots for nighttime LE’s, the problem with Storkow is that the local authorities seem to be in love with road signs, trust me they are everywhere, every 50 feet you’d see at least half a dozen sign posts, signs for speed limits, signs for wildlife, signs for left turns, right turns, the tourist attraction on the left, the shopping centre on the right and on and on it goes! Signs can ruin a leading line and the rural composite of your image, so trying to find a good spot can be a challenge here.
As for the title, I looked at the trees and they looked like they are celebrating, I see a world in an animated fashion most days.

Having endured the torment of watching the aurora predictions escalate beyond anything we"ve previously known, how gutting it was that up here in the Northeast we had blanket cloud cover

So the following night, with a small chance of some clear sky we ventured down to my local
We were on dog sitting duties, so my usual planning went a little astray sadly. Arriving to capture this image, just as that beautiful red began to fade. Yes story of my life
Also in my wisdom, I'd decided to use the 5d, which has almost given up and doesn't now show the image of what your taking on the screen, until you've captured it. So not the best comp by far
Several other togs were there and as you can see, enjoying every minute, as I did

I enjoy the fact that it is so very International.
On top of everything else, here the common factor, our love for our photography.

The Floribunda Family are Modern Roses!! They are created by talented Roserists by marrying old singly growing varieties of Roses . The irresistible David Austin Roses/ English Roses are spectacular, because not only they are just Floribundas, but they also have large and double blooms, and strongly scented! They grow in multiple adorable buds together, and all bloom almost simultaneously!! The result is an irresistible splash of colour , which seen from a distance is very appreciated, especially in big gardens like mine! And that is why I chose them!!
