Candles are always included in all our celebrations. this is a very small advent candle about 1 cm in height.
I have not great skills in Photoshop, but just for fun I tried to make a card for Halloween.
I hope you have a great time on this eccentric day. Unfortunately Halloween is not part of our culture, but I admit that in recent years Brazilians are trying to introduce, unofficially, this celebration in our calendar :)

So there was only one plant
Shouting and dancing in the forest
“Whew! Woo Hoo! I survived!"

When autumn showers us with the firework colours of leaves as a last celebration of all that nature has to offer.

The Manor Class of steam locomotives are celebrating an anniversary this year. This weekend marks 50 years since the last days of ‘Manor’ steam locomotives worked on the Cambrian network.
In Poland, Fat Thursday is called tłusty czwartek. People purchase their favorite pastries from their local bakeries. Traditional foods include pączki (doughnuts), which are large deep-fried pieces of especially rich dough, traditionally filled with plum or rose petal jam (though others are commonly used) and topped with powdered sugar, icing, or glaze.] Angel wings (faworki) are also commonly consumed on this day.
In Spain the arrival of the new year is celebrated by taking twelve grapes at midnight on the last day of the year that is leaving, one for each chime of the clock.
Sometimes good news kind of get so into you that you feel you are floating off
Out of a body experience
Full of feelings, soo happy, joyful, anxious at the same time, hesitant, "is it true" comes to your mind
It may take a while to land and actually understand the whole concept because it's kind of unreal
Unreal that things can go your way
But I believe that the universe has a plan
Meant to be is a saying
Yes I think so
How happy I am right now
And I know that another one is happy too and I love that guy
I bet the energy string that goes across the pond, all the 5100 km, is full of love
So if you come across the string, take care of it, suck it in, breathe it in
It's one of a kind
It is ours to behold

Il 14 Ottobre 2021, in occasione del ventesimo anniversario, è stato effettuato un treno celebrativo con titolare la E193.774, a cui per l'occasione è stata dedicata una livrea speciale, e la E193.773. In foto il treno mentre percorre gli ultimi kilometri che lo separano dalla destinazione finale di Verona Quadrante Europa
Botallack, Cornwall
My last upload of 2022 and another image from the Cornwall tour with Mark, Geoff and Shelly. 2022 has been mainly a series of many low points with very few highlights for me, but Cornwall was definitely the pinnacle and an opportunity to get away and do something for myself with good friends.
I’ve not posted a lot this year, in fact it’s been my second lowest output (a measly 57) since I joined Flickr way back in 2015. So, I’ll bypass all the fake New Year’s celebrations this weekend and dive head first into 2023 next week. As the song says… things can only get better!

Apologies for my absence, life is busy at the moment! I can't believe this is 32 years ago, where does the time go? Neither of us like having our photo taken but you can't really escape that on your wedding day, can you???

As I said previously, I’ve been walking for miles and discovered some great spots for nighttime LE’s, the problem with Storkow is that the local authorities seem to be in love with road signs, trust me they are everywhere, every 50 feet you’d see at least half a dozen sign posts, signs for speed limits, signs for wildlife, signs for left turns, right turns, the tourist attraction on the left, the shopping centre on the right and on and on it goes! Signs can ruin a leading line and the rural composite of your image, so trying to find a good spot can be a challenge here.
As for the title, I looked at the trees and they looked like they are celebrating, I see a world in an animated fashion most days.
