When autumn showers us with the firework colours of leaves as a last celebration of all that nature has to offer.

As I said previously, I’ve been walking for miles and discovered some great spots for nighttime LE’s, the problem with Storkow is that the local authorities seem to be in love with road signs, trust me they are everywhere, every 50 feet you’d see at least half a dozen sign posts, signs for speed limits, signs for wildlife, signs for left turns, right turns, the tourist attraction on the left, the shopping centre on the right and on and on it goes! Signs can ruin a leading line and the rural composite of your image, so trying to find a good spot can be a challenge here.
As for the title, I looked at the trees and they looked like they are celebrating, I see a world in an animated fashion most days.

Apologies for my absence, life is busy at the moment! I can't believe this is 32 years ago, where does the time go? Neither of us like having our photo taken but you can't really escape that on your wedding day, can you???

HMM- the theme for the Macro Mondays group for today, 12/7, is 🎉celebration🎉. This ornament celebrates Christmas 🎄 and the coming of the end of a year of covid-19. Using hand sanitizer, hoarding TP, and wearing masks- all symbols of 2020 that we’ll be glad to leave behind.
May the coming year bring us a successful vaccine that we’re wishing for and the ability to be with our families and friends without angst or worry.

I took this photo twenty years ago during a fireworks to celebrate 200 years since IK Brunel's birth. When I arrived at the viewing place all the spaces were full of people. I managed to wedge myself and tripod behind some portable toilets and got this photo.

It's autumn, at least on this side of the equator. Nature is slowly revealing its beautiful fall colors. It's also the time when I'm slowly getting back to work in my (makeshift) studio (a.k.a. the attic) at home, and that transition isn't always easy...
I saw this week's Macro Mondays theme and thought: I'm in! After several attempts with various objects, I thought of this small cup, just 1.5 cm high, in the warm golden colour of autumn; and finally I got an idea. My return to my own small, makeshift studio will be a celebrated with a macro in autumn colours.
Including negative space, this photo is 5.8 cm wide.
