My 'updated' ceiling fan. To be honest, after seeing the antique gold fan with the gold wall paper it wasn't bad but I really like the solid dark bronze look.

These air line fittings hang from the ceiling fan in my dad's garage, they are used to extend the fan's control chains.

Day 38--This is one of the last things I see before fading off to sleep at night. Our trusty ceiling fan. Looks like we need to clean it! :)

We'll be taking another trip to the Minneapolis Institute of Art this afternoon, this time with our church youth group. Anna put together a cool worksheet to help the girls see examples of depiction of Christian stories and objects of worship in art. I'm excited to see how the girls respond to it.

The motor installed. I had to use some creativity to attach the main bracket to the ceiling box.

Giant fans in the bus bay help keep passengers from suffering carbon monoxide asphyxiation. (On September 25th, a crack in a steel beam was discovered behind the ceiling panels, causing a complete shutdown of the terminal and park.)

I'm not sure what compelled me to take photos of the fan, but of the various shots I took, I liked how this one came out.

My friends Dan, Pete and Rick did a beautiful job restoring these two R-52s to something resembling the original factory beige, after the fans (including the blades) were coated in multiple layers of paint by previous owners over the years.

The theme for this week's 7 Day Project is "Knee Level or Below". The photos must be taken from knee level or below.

This one was taken laying on the floor, camera smooshed onto my face for stability and shooting up at the ceiling fan.

From 1978, early in the 2-speed, 2.5 amp motor era.

Yea, 200 pictures in the bag and I'm starting to find myself at a loss...uh...so here's my ceiling fan.

These two are hanging from my personal fan.

As elegant as one can imagine, the Bayhill ceiling fan by Lauren Brooks sets the mood for a step back in time. With an almost Victorian look and feel, the venetian bronze fan assembly with cairo purple finish custom wood blades allows the Bayhill ceiling fan to make a statement of pure elegance.

Designed and built this decorative roof structure with cedar trim and rain chain.

Thursday. I don't know; I really have no idea.

I will say though, that last night, I turned my apartment upside-down looking everywhere for my camera remote. I was devastated over the thought that I had lost it. Well, I found it eventually...in my REFRIGERATOR of all places. It's a long story, but hey, what matters is I found it.
