A collection of vintage watch parts shot alongside an antique copper penny. For added vintage effect it’s shot with a 1970s M42 lens.

Trust you is just one defense

Off a list of others, you don't make sense

Beg me time and time again

to take you back now, but you can't win

Take back now, my life you're stealing

Yesterday was hell

But Today I'm fine without you

Seven quarters

HMM!

Macro Mondays: Dutch Angle

(A US quarter is 0.955 inches in diameter and 0.069 inches thick)

I close my eyes and picture

The emerald of the sea

From the fishing boats at Dingle

To the shores of Donaghadee

I miss the river Shannon

And the folks at Skibbereen

The moorlands and the meddle

With their forty shades of green

But most of all I miss a girl

In Tipperary town

And most of all I miss her lips

As soft as eiderdown

Again I want to see and do

The things we've done and seen

Where the breeze is sweet as Shalimar

And there's forty shades of green

I wish that I could spend an hour

At Dublin's churching surf

I'd love to watch the farmers

Drain the bogs and spade the turf

To see again the thatching

Of the straw the women glean

I'd walk from Cork to Larne to see

The forty shades of green

But most of all I miss a girl

In Tipperary town

And most of all I miss her lips

As soft as eiderdown

Again I want to see and do

The things we've done and seen

Where the breeze is sweet as Shalimar

And there's forty shades of green

There used to be a bank in town, now there is this ATM in a field next to the VFW Post, just outside of town.

This time shot with a FA 31 f1.8 Limited (wide open).

Cash made his first visit to the farm tonight with his family, who are volunteers at the farm. He found the sights and scents very interesting! He wasn't interested in pats, but looked at the camera a few times.

Compositionally Challenged Week39 - Shapes

Shot from 3rd floor parking garage, facing west. From Wiki: Wells Fargo Center is a skyscraper located in Denver, Colorado, United States. The building is also known by its former name One Norwest Center. It is known colloquially as the Cash Register Building for the way its uppermost floors curve together resembling the shape of an antique cash register. At 52 stories tall, it is 698 feet (213 m) high and the third tallest building in Denver.[1] It is shorter than the Republic Plaza building at 714 feet (218 m), and 1801 California Street at 709 feet (216 m).

The building was designed by architect Philip Johnson, under a master plan by I. M. Pei, and was completed in 1983. As it was originally designed to be for a downtown area in Texas, a heated roof is necessary to prevent snow from accumulating and sliding dangerously off the curved crown.[citation needed] Located at 1700 Lincoln Street, a skybridge over Lincoln Street connects the Wells Fargo Center to the older Mile High Center at 1700 Broadway;[2] which houses a food court, Starbucks, a small museum featuring artifacts, and memorabilia from Wells Fargo history, and the Downtown Denver branch of Wells Fargo Bank. Both buildings have large atria constructed in the same cash register style.

The building has its own unique zip code, 80274

Walk the Line Movie CLIP - Cocaine Blues

Johnny Cash - Cocaine Blues ♪ ♫ ♩ ♬

Early one mornin' while makin' the rounds

I took a shot of cocaine and I shot my woman down

I went right home and I went to bed

I stuck that lovin' .44 beneath my head

Got up next mornin' and I grabbed that gun

Took a shot of cocaine and away I run

Made a good run but I ran too slow

They overtook me down in Juarez, Mexico

Late in the hot joints takin' the pills

In walked the sheriff from Jericho Hill

He said Willy Lee your name is not Jack Brown

You're the dirty heck that shot your woman down

Said yes, oh yes my name is Willy Lee

If you've got the warrant just a-read it to me

Shot her down because she made me sore

I thought I was her daddy but she had five more

When I was arrested I was dressed in black

They put me on a train and they took me back

Had no friend for to go my bail

They slapped my dried up carcass in that county jail . . .
