CARtoons magazine is an American publication that focuses on automotive humor and hot rod artwork. Originated by Carl Kohler and drag-racing artist Pete Millar, it was published by Robert E. Petersen Publication Company as a quarterly starting in 1959. Editors over the years included Carl Kohler, Dick Day, Jack Bonestell, and Dennis Ellefson. The original CARtoons went defunct in 1991. In 2016, CARtoons resumed publication under new ownership of the trademark, and is currently published bimonthly.
Could not wait each month for the new edition to arrive. All those crazy drawings of Rat Fink and the monsters driving the cars I thought it was great 😎👍

No disrespect, but if there were ever a duck that looked like a cartoon, it has to be the Ruddy Duck. I just love their stance, the upturned tail, and of course the blue bill.

Specially for Staceydaisy2 I did some cartooning, only a few hours work, liked doing this one, hope you like it too !!
For the next 52(51 now?) weeks I'm going to be making a weekly fan-art piece, each a tribute to the things that have shaped me into the person I am today, be it through inspiration, entertainment, sustenance or.. some .. other thing.
I'm hoping it'll help me experiment, craft and explore my style, increase my productivity and at the very least show my appreciation for all the things I've grown up with.
#1 is a tribute to Adventure Time, a cartoon I only recently discovered but almost instantly fell into platonic love with. Go and watch it!
I don't think I'll be drawing/working on them to this scale each week, but I'll churn out the odd 'epic' piece I expect.

Modern versions of the rhyme include:
Two little dickie birds sitting on a wall.
One named Peter, one named Paul.
Fly away, Peter! Fly away, Paul!
Come back, Peter! Come back, Paul!

The rhyme was first recorded when published in Mother Goose's Melody in London around 1765. In this version the names of the birds were Jack and Gill:
There were two blackbirds
Sat upon a hill,
The one was nam'd Jack,
The other nam'd Gill;
Fly away Jack,
Fly away Gill,
Come again Jack,
Come again Gill.
These names seem to have been replaced with the apostles Peter and Paul in the 19th century
