During a 3-day symposium, ESCP Europe Master in Management students had the chance to work on their individual career plans.
50 professionals from business and civil society helped the students to discover their strengths and motivation, to reflect on personal, entrepreneurial and societal goals, and to work on concrete next steps for successful life planning.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nations were the core of this year's event. In workshops, the students came up with ideas on how to reach the 17 Global Goals by 2030 and reflect on their personal impact.
Loyola University New Orleans' Career Development Center offers resources to students to help you discover your path, practice your skills, communicate your differences, and create strategies for career success. Resources include resume writing, cover letters, thank you notes, mock interviews with a career coach or visiting employer, and seminars and workshops.

The event catered to anybody who cared to attend and listen to the wonderful speaker, be it the youth or even a 70 year old could benefit from the pearls of wisdom scattered on that wonderful day. The speaker was Qaiser Abbas. Pakistan’s highest paid motivational speaker and probably a pioneer of what he does in our country. And the author of International Best-seller ‘Tick Tick Dollar’.
The environment was electric and for the first time in a while everybody attending the event was expecting quite nice things to come their way. This was the reason the auditorium was packed. The theme was DREAM BIG AND HAVE BELIEF. His speech was highly motivational he said nobody in your life tells you your potential but always it’s you who should belief in his own potential. That belief led you to dream big one night and bigger the next night. But dreaming was not everything, to back up those dreams; you have to work day and night, tirelessly and ferociously towards his goals. Students energies renewed, their picture about their selves totally changed and changed for the good.

Career Talk over Coffee is Charlotte Mecklenburg Library's monthly career meet-up, happening at 7th Street Market or virtually from home. 82% of Postgraduates are not able to utilize their investment in education as they fail to understand that degrees lacking employability skills are like a mobile phone without a SIM card.
76% BTech and MBA degree holders are doing nocturnal jobs (awaking in night and sleeping during day time) in Call Centres, sharing seats with their twelfth pass colleagues; trapped in a quagmire without any career or future prospects.
64% of school students and 88% of college students are busy doing everything except their studies.
