This was the last major go-live for the Hospital CareConnect Team. Marion (Marion, Oh) and Hardin (Kenton, Oh), and Marion Medical Center. It should have been an easy one, but it turned out to be difficult. It didn’t help that most days were 12, 13, or 14 hours long with an hour and a half ride (or more) in each direction. Normally I left the house at 4:30 AM and was home about 8:00 PM.
I don’t mind driving country roads. Actually I much prefer them to expressways and interstates. RT 33 to Marion is 70 MPH. I normally drive 65 MPH and I’m passed by everything on the road, and most of the time passed very quickly.
Most evenings on the ride home I stopped and explored small towns along the way – Richwood, Prospect, Magnetic Springs, Waldo, and others. Before the go-live I was thinking about a project – photographing the small towns of WV and writing about their history. I’m getting a start on that project now with some Ohio towns, which is OK.
This photo has no meaning other than to someone who supported any of the four major go-lives, where to park your car. It is pointer into the remainder of the albums.
