Happy Beautiful Bug Butt Thursday everyone, off here for several days, I'll try and catch up when I return. Stay safe my friends. ;0)

Carder-bees are to be found in long meadow grass, where they gather moss and form a snuggy ball shaped nest. When disturbed some bees will fly out and make an aerial display, while those in the nest perform a communal buzzzz. They're telling you to back off and can sting, but only if you persist in annoying them.

Most people come upon Carder-bee nests when trying to clear an overgrown garden and especially when cutting long meadow grass.

Carder-bee nests can be moved but it is far better to leave them in place, if possible. You can finish the garden work at the end of the summer when the bees have finished. These bees are mild tempered and are usually a pleasure to have in a garden. They will not return to the same spot the following year.

Woman's Head-Leonardo da Vinci drawing (reproduction) on a card.

◾Leonardo da Vinci created this delightful drawing in the year 1473, in the very beginning of his career as an artist. It portrays a woman’s head leaning to the left side, and it was produced in ink on paper. As it’s the case of most of the ink-on-paper drawings, this piece rarely comes to public exhibition, for the vulnerability of its media. It is currently part of the amazing collection of Uffizi gallery, in Florence. ◾

An abstract shot of my old graphics card for this week's Macro Mondays theme of 'Handle with Care'. Circuit boards are notoriously vulnerable to static and are quite fragile. I used some cat toys to make an interesting background and a Canon EF100mm f/2.8L lens strapped to 52mm of extension tubes giving a magnification of roughly x1.47. 10 natural light exposures at f/5.6 combined in Zerene Stacker.

i loved the big button theme so i went crazy :) they are busniess card holder or gift card holder it's 100% cotton.etsy!!
