A quick through-the-windshield snatch in St. Pete’s Warehouse District. The fastback style was being revived after a hiatus of some 15-20 years: I recall reading a contemporary TIME Magazine article that declared, “The fastback is coming back fast.” (TIME’s breezy journalistic style was making a strong impression on teenager Yours Truly: my teachers were less impressed when I tried to adapt it to my schoolboy History and English essays.)
Oh man, the architecture of these things, and the men and those two shrubs and the car hoods up, the noises and odors so near to residences.
