Russ Branzell, the chief information officer at Poudre Valley Health System, set out to play 365 holes of golf on June 28, 2011, to raise money for community cancer efforts at the Poudre Valley Health System Foundation.
It's the second straight year Branzell has used the golf course to raise money for our community. For the second straight year, he played at the Harmony Club in Timnath, Colorado.
Each one of the 365 holes represents each day someone in our community battles cancer.
Branzell's golf marathon will raise much needed funds for the Poudre Valley Cancer Center, a community driven initiative to create one door for cancer patients in our community.
The ENGAGE in life project is the culmination of a community's dream based on the need to have one place to go as you travel through your cancer journey.

My cancers thought me that I can hold still for needles, but will
never be able to watch or get used to them. My cancers continue to teach me how wonderful my (now)husband is than in all the years I knew him before. My cancers have taught me how to be a caregiver and that
it is truly harder to be a caregiver than it is to be the patient.
