Embrace of the Ceylon Oak
In the heart of the emerald glade,
Where whispers of ancient stories wade,
Stands the Ceylon oak, steadfast and grand,
A sentinel of time, in this lush land.
With a crown of red, new leaves unfurl,
Like tiny flames in a gentle swirl,
Each bud a promise, each leaf a sigh,
Embracing the sun, reaching for the sky.
Roots deep in the earth, they cradle the past,
Silent witness to seasons, forever cast,
While breezes dance through its canopied throne,
In the symphony of life, it stands alone.

A cozy moment behind the lens — hat on, camera up, fire crackling, and my little sidekick lounging like he owns the place. Just me doing what I love: capturing life while living it. Warm light, denim shorts, a lazy pup, and a quiet space that feels like home.
Here I am, world — showing up again, curious, creative, and exactly where I need to be.

When your a photographer you get gifted a lot of camera based things...about 8 years ago I had precisely 4 of those mugs that looked just like camera lenses and a double of 'camera handbag' Maybe you can relate?
This necklace is something I really love too...it was a gift from a friend and it came packaged so beautifully I kept all that too. It has a compartment that you could put an emergency 'something' in? or a photo or a note. The front of the 'lens' twists, so you can pretend you are focusing.. plus is also a mirror, so I can check if I have a piece of spinach on my teeth!

CANON 70-200 F2,8 L USM w wersji pierwszej.
Po ponad 11 latach z fotografią, sprzętu nazbierało się dosyć sporo, w związku z czym będę teraz regularnie publikował posty, w których po krótce opowiem: jakiego sprzętu używam, dlaczego akurat ten, do jakich zastosowań itp...
Jest to dla mnie bardzo ciekawy temat, bo sprzętu FOTO „przerzuciłem” mnóstwo i teraz mam zaplecze które odpowiada mi w 100%. Jednak nie było tak od początku mojej przygody z fotografią. Oczywiście nadal wprowadzam zmiany, jednak teraz dużo bardziej przemyślane.
To tyle jeżeli chodzi o nową serię postów, a poniżej jeden z moich najstarszych obiektywów i ten, którego pokochałem od pierwszego „strzału”. Zarazem jest to jedyny ZOOM jaki posiadam, jedno z „ciemniejszych” szkieł w mojej „szklarni” - bo już jakiś czas przesiadłem się wyłącznie na bardzo jasne obiektywy stałoogniskowe (z wyjątkiem tego).
ZASTOSOWANIE:
Używam przede wszystkim do Fotografii Sportowej - ze względu na zakres ogniskowych od 70mm do 200mm przy stałym świetle 2,8 jest jakby „szyty na miarę”, ponieważ przy dynamicznych ujęciach można płynnie i co najważniejsze bez utraty jakości fotografować obiekty bliżej lub dalej. Ostrość jaką zapewnia na 200mm i otwartej przysłonie na 2,8 jest wprost GENIALNA!!! … i cudownie izoluje obiekty od tła - dając przy tym rewelacyjny obraz. Bardzo często fotografuje nim też Psiaki, czasem portrety, samoloty, zdecydowanie rzadziej architekturę i krajobrazy (ale zdarza się).
DLACZEGO TEN:
Jest to genialnie skonstruowany obiektyw (Szkło i metal), mega odporny na warunki, brak elementów ruchomych (wysuwane tubusy), stałe światło 2,8, cudowna ergonomia (jak dla mnie).
Naprawdę kocham to szkło, i jest dla mnie niezastąpione.

Peace Pagoda or people called Japanese Pagoda is located at Leverett, MA.
