Photo taken somewhere around the early 1980s. Film is Tri-X. I didn't keep very good records then so I don't know the exact date or the exact camera. It was either a Pentax ME or a Nikon FM. Those were the 2 I owned at the time.

It's been raining here for the past three days w/out a break, no chance for naturey bokeh.
I thought this bottle was pretty cool looking for this kind of thing, lol. Awesome fun fragrance :) HBW!

21st Century Tuesday
In July I spent an enforced day wandering around Cambridge with my camera while I waited for my car to be repaired. It was, of course, a fabulous excuse for a bit of play.
As you may recall, I concentrated my time there on panning shots for my 100x motion series, and I tried some street photography. This image is a combination of street and motion and was taken in Cambridge’s largest in-town shopping centre (mall).
Street photography turned out to be more interesting than I expected. I thought it would be wandering around in acute embarrassment pointing a camera at people who would rather you didn’t. Instead, it turned out to be an exercise in urban mindfulness. And that was both fun and worthwhile.
More than half the challenge is being aware of what is going on and creating opportunities for interesting images. That requires a lot of anticipation, and the ability to respond quickly when something seems to be happening or coming together. You also need to be aware of backgrounds all the time.
And then you need to polish the art of being ordinary and inconspicuous (very difficult when you are tall, dark and incredibly handsome like I am ;) ). I tried to hold the camera away from my eye and not move much or seem to concentrate on the scene as much as I was…
And this image just shows how pathetic I am at it. Would you believe I didn’t see the humour until much later when I got home? I thought I was just taking a motion experiment. And whoever dressed that window deserves a promotion!
By chance I captured the man looking at me suspiciously by accident which adds to it I think (and if you look carefully you can see Calvin’s woman doing the same :) ).
In my defence I was on the move and in a hurry. The trouble with shopping centres in this country is that they are private property. They have every right to ask you to leave, which they may well do if they think that you are making there are customers feel anxious. Security cameras are everywhere, and although I was sure that the centre’s guards would be pleasant (if not a little officious) I didn’t want to risk being ejected from the place.
At least the security people don’t wear guns here - in the country I grew up in there was always a guard with a submachine gun at the local supermarket…
The blur in the bottom left is that of a woman pushing a pram, proving I need more eyes than a self-driving car to be a successful street photographer :)
Thank you for taking the time to look. I hope you enjoy the image. Happy 100x :)
When you look at the larger version of this photograph it looks sort of 3D-ish. Almost like a collage of sorts. No idea how I managed to capture this strange effect.

27/05/2017; We have fire in the sky more often, but this time, it was for real, as there was a big fire going on in the Western Harbour.
It was a sunny 30 degrees Celsius day that day, but because the wind changed direction at the end of the afternoon, it started to cool down, which meant I could open the windows and doors to cool things down in the house. Until the sky started to become really dark after an hour or two...
No rain was predicted, so I googled to check what could be going on, which happened to be that fire. Unfortunately that changed wind direction meant the smoke of the fire was being blown to where I live, meaning I could close the windows and doors again.
As I didn't want to be stuck in a warm house though, I decided to go out photographing, hoping the sunset would be nice, despite the smoke from the fire polluting the horizon. I wasn't disappointed. :)

I went to pick out some cologne as a (slightly late) anniversary present for my husband. The clerk did not need to twist my arm too hard to convince me pick out some for myself, too. The title of the fragrance is appropriate. I can't stop sniffing myself!

Ok, ok. I admit. I’m guilty of being obsessed with Shawn Mendes and his Calvin Klein billboard… LOL! So I took inspiration from the Black & White #mycalvins ad campaign and the brand’s “understated sexy” image and played around with angles, lighting & shadows to compliment the erotic male figure in a sensually artistic way. I chose to wear a sleek yet rugged leather jacket by the one and only COX Leather and pair it with (obviously) their badass underwear. For the hair I needed it to be messy to give you that “bad boy just had sex” vibe ála brazilian male model, Marlon Teixeira, so the U92 hair by Dura was MUY PERFECTO!
I’m actually super proud of myself because this is the first time I created my very own pose from scratch! Because I needed one that was quite angular and suitable for a low camera angle. And because I’ve been experimenting with smoke effects in SL, the pose also needed to have my hand interact with the cigarette in just the right and natural way. And I “think” it did!
I hope yall like it ❤️ xoxo
