First and Finest - Heroes Work Here. COVID-19 Response. Lt. Cheyanne Huls, registered nurse, is at the forefront of Naval Medical Center Portsmouth’s COVID-19 response. She is the officer in charge (OIC) of NMCP’s COVID-19 emergency drive thru, which has been able to offset emergency room flow by evaluating patients with COVID-19 related concerns. Huls believes she is just one of many people who have answered the #CallToAction.
“The team has been upholding keeping sick patients at home and away from infecting others,” Huls said. “Our job is to be gatekeepers of keeping patients at home and safe. If we work together, we will hopefully beat the battle of COVID-19 and come out the other side healthy.”
The great efforts put forth by Lt. Huls and the many others proves that #HeroesWorkHere at #NMCPFirstandFinest.

As part of our commitment to make information as accessible as possible, NHS England's inaugural Annual General Meeting was held in public at the Queen Elizabeth II conference centre in London on 12th September 2013.
The Board received reports on business from the previous year and opened up their conversation to questions from the public.
Various workshops and seminars held earlier throughout the day brought together partners from across the world of health care, including the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sectors.
Twitter was used during the entirety of the event, for delegates and participants to feed back their views as it unfolded. Workshop themes and hashtags included...
- Call to action – #CallToAction
- End of life care – #endoflifecare
- 7 day services – #7DayServices
- Health Inequalities/health equality – #healthequality
- Transparency and Participation – #transparency
A separate recording of each agenda item will be published on YouTube.

"The struggle continues...
May my past, my story inspire you.
The first steps toward change are never easy.

I can not think of a better "Ruby" for the treasure hunt in the 365/2021 - Expanding Horizons group. And I support the text on the open page of the book.

I saw this at a hospital and thought that it was interesting that a sign that says "Emergency" was pointing at the sky. I took this pic with a Nikon D3000 and I changed the lighting in Elements.
I'm still learning, so please bear with me. I'm developing a love for photography and what can be done with it.
Thank you very much for any comments!
