7 day mural project with Nick Adam @ Johalla Projects. www.itsourwater.org

This is a pipe driven into the hillside draining a mine somewhere beneath the hill. The mine has filled with water and the leached pollution is pouring quite freely from the pipe.

I was contacted by the Ground Water Protection Council asking permission to include my photograph in their document "Ground Water Report to the Nation: A Call to Action." Permission was granted under Creative Commons and you can find it included in Section 10: Groundwater & Abandoned Mines at http://www.gwpc.org/calltoaction/

The ephemera exposition at Johalla Projects dialoguing Water’s relationship with Chicago. Over seven days, I will remove and install one mural a day that anthropomorphizes our relationship with water. You are personally invite you to literally watch all these works wash away.
