The colours Ivory, pinks and peaches are so fashionable currently and are great for #girlsbirthday and #babyshower parties! Giant glittered letters with pretty flowers and details work really well as a #welcomefeature or a big statement in the room. With vintage and rustic themes still very popular, what about a beautiful bespoke washing line with baby clothes or hanging pictures as the backdrop for the #sweetcart. The #candy cart can be dressed with all things pretty and included all the best childhood favourite sweets; bonbons, refreshers, flying saucers – oh and don’t forget the #percypigs! What about a garden fence backdrop with pretty flowers as a #selfiewallbackdrop. The cherry on the cake could be one of our glamourous blossom trees was clad in pretty flowers and hanging images as a central feature in the room.

Starbucks Banana Muffin! Finally got to try it after sooo long! But it was quite disappointing cause they used Banana essence/flavouring to create the whole banana-ey smell and taste )':
I was looking forward to a actual REAL banana muffin! Sigh.
The leafs can be dropped for smaller cakes or tighter doorways.
Also can be used as a "room service" table. Roll it into the room, open the leafs and serve an intimate dinner for two on Valentine's Day.
The pictures of prior family weddings were a nice touch.

This started off as incredible envious hunger at the sight of this sumptuous chocolate strawberry almond pistachio cake elsewhere on flickr.
My Mum bought a punnet of strawberries! Yay! I could try making a feeble copy.. with none of the other ingredients.. :S
Result was a strawberry, forest fruit and kiwi cake, soaked in cassis liqueur as it was the closest/only thing lying around and might complement the blackcurrants quite well.
Suprisingly not a total disaster, very lovely it was but I'm still hankering after a pistachio and chocolate cake, those flavours sound wonderful together.

Darcey wanted individual cakes at a special cake table. These were red velvet with cream cheese frosting.
I took the kitchen out of my shelves for a while so that they'd have a bit more space. I like the way Hana is looking at Kaoru here, lol ^^

The aisle flowers from the ceremony site were placed around the cake table at the reception for added color and flair.
A newly renovated coffee shop off Hafte Tir. I was very upset to see a tub of Nesquick behind the counter after paying for my not so impressive hot chocolate.
