Had an hour briefing with my boss here... At least I had a scoop of strawberry ice-cream... but the work is no fun... This was before I went back to office. Boss came to my house twice while I was working from home... it was no fun at all. First meeting was in her car outside my house for an hour! Crazy... The second time I told her I don't want to sit in the car for another hour... so she took me to this nearby cafe.

This is the exterior of the Woodies Café, located in Santa Cruz, California. I-5 Design and Manufacture designed this themed café to have a fun and casual atmosphere, that would tie into the celebrated ‘Woodies on the Wharf’ event. At the entry, we created a custom designed arched entrance façade and a background panel that simulated the “woody” body style finish. For the exterior of the Woodies Café located on the Santa Cruz Wharf in California, I-5 Design and Manufacture created this 3D design rendering. One of the key elements in this design is the custom entrance structure; with wood pilings and large rock bases on either side, authentic custom-made larger than life wooden surfboards mounted onto the face of the piling, internally illuminated signage, arched background paneling behind the signage to have simulated “woody” body style finish and more. Mustang Cafe in the Comanche Nation Casino includes a custom designed suspended ceiling valance with color changing led technology, specialty metal columns with mica luminaire top and stone base, half walls with sculpted panels and a silhouette horse cutout with LED uplighting and mural backer over the ordering counter. This is one of the venues in the Route 66 Buffet. Cool blues and rust reds were used to create a truly Mediterranean feel and give the customer the feeling that they were standing in an open market by the sea. Inspired by the surrounding environment and by ‘Woodies on the Wharf’, I-5 Design and Manufacture created a great new look for the Woodies Café, located in Santa Cruz, California. The entrance into the café is marked by two large, pier-like wood posts with rock bases and wrapped with nautical rope. Mounted to each of the posts are custom made surfboards, designed to bring out the beach element, and behind the illuminated letters is a background panel depicting the classic woodies automobile. At Woodies Café, located in Santa Cruz, California, I-5 Design and Manufacture created exterior and interior designs that tied in with the surrounding environment, as well as brought out elements of the classic ‘Woodies’ automobile. The entrance into the café was marked by two wood pilings with custom longboards mounted to the front and wrapped in thick nautical rope, channel letters reading ‘Woodies Café’ which are internally illuminated and placed in front of the custom background panel depicting a ‘woody’ on the beach. Located on one of the most beautiful piers in Santa Cruz, California, is the Woodies Café, a delicious restaurant inspired by ‘Woodies on the Wharf’.
