CZ: Dne 15. prosince 2025 byla na známém místě nedaleko stanice Jannowitzbrücke v Berlíně zachycena jednotka ICE1 první generace jako ICE 996 [Frankfurt (Main) Hbf – Berlin Ostbahnhof]. V poradí se nachází televizní věž, která byla postavena za časů NDR ve východní části Berlína v letech 1965–1969.

Atomic power plant is an amazing invention. As well as Internet and Contact Lenses. Coal is in the earth for perhaps another 50 years. Uranus is in our world for 60,000 more years! The nuclear power plant must be drive the best people, the most educated and the most experienced. Just the brains of our company. This is not the case in the Czech Republic. Atomic power station is controlled by old idiots and small children! I've been working for 33 years here and I'm sick of it. Those experienced engineers died or left. They were disgusted.

Jan Zelinka was my Grandfather Carl's brother-in-law. My grandfather Carl was a hero of war and a businessman in transport. Jan was the builder of buildings. They understood very well. Jan Zelinka built a buildings in South Brno and had business in Uzhgorod, Ukraine, where he lived for a long time. He had a beautiful house in the Brno-Židenice district. He had a son and a daughter. His daughter was beautiful as Czech actress Zita Kabátová. www.csfd.cz/tvurce/1031-zita-kabatova/ She and her brother Jan were killed in the concentration camp Dachau. They joined the groups of Czech resistance in 1942. And then came the communists, another evil! Jan Zelinka spent his life full of disappointment. He dead in 70's.

Na kering van ongeveer een uur in Luhačovice (met uiteraard daarin het omlopen van de locomotief), keert de R 883 op de R 888. Ook deze R 888 werd op 4 juni 2025 bij Polichno vastgelegd. Weliswaar staat de zon in juni net nog te haaks voor deze fotostek, maar het zicht op de huizen en achterliggende heuvel was te leuk om deze stek niet mee te pakken. ČD diesellocomotief 750 710 is met vier rijtuigen als R 888 net aan de rit vanuit Luhačovice naar Staré Město begonnen, wanneer de trein door Polichno rijdt. In Staré Město zal de machine plaats maken voor een elektrische loc en gaat de R 888 nog door naar Praha-Vršovice.
CZ: Dne 30. prosince 2024 byla nedaleko stanice Štrba zachycena lokomotiva 151.006 v čele mezistátního expresu EC 241 "Košičan" [Praha hl.n. - Košice]. V rámci rozloučení lokomotiv řady 151 s vozbou mezistátních expresů na Slovensko byly ve dnech 26. prosince až 30. prosince 2024 tyto stroje nasazeny spolu s klasickou soupravou na tento prestižní mezistátní výkon z Prahy do Košic a zpět s kilometrickým proběhem přes 1300 km. Pod vrcholy pohoří Vysoké Tatry se jednalo o skutečně důstojné rozloučení s touto železniční epochou.
EN: On 30 December 2024, locomotive 151.006 was photographed near Štrba station at the head of the interstate express EC 241 "Košice" [Praha hl.n. - Košice]. As part of the farewell of the 151 series locomotives to Slovakia with express trains, these engines were deployed together with a classic set on this prestigious service from Prague to Košice and back with a length of over 1300 km from 26 December to 30 December 2024. Under the peaks of the Vysoké Tatry Mountains, it was a truly dignified farewell to this railway era.
