M6 Tittensor 18-2-2014

Trevor hoists the CZ over one of the man made jumps. There were enough to make it interesting - but not so many as to reduce proceedings to the point-squirt-jump tedium of stadium motocross. Course and super slick running seemed to meet with general rider approval.

Ultra smooth from eventual winner Wayne Partington.

Keith Rice on the CZ. After the disappointment of the first race Keith powers on to hunt down an - understandably - tiring Chris Chell. Had the race been 20 minutes plus one lap he would've probably have done it [ - Keith took a seven hour trip from Canvey Island to race at Abbeycwmhir ]

Totally different bokeh!

Not sure how far you would want to take this off-road......

My XT350 was much better!

Gordon Adsett on the CZ. You might like to compare this with the shot of Gordon on a Triumph Metisse at Leighton in 1965 [ - ! ] in the set 'Slide Archive 12'

The event was blessed with some beautiful spring weather - Miroslav flies over the bottom ski jump.

Keith in pursuit of the bouncing Chris Chell [ - see previous ]

Keith tells me he had the CZ motor pressure tested over the winter, and found three separate leaks in the cylinder/crankcase. Now fixed, bike should be even quicker than last season.
