Cedar Waxwing. Twenty days ago 3 of these birds showed up. Today I counted 3. And every day between those two days we have had 5 to 40 Cedar Waxwings in the yard. I think the few that have remained must be nesting nearby...they come for water and spend a bit of time in the flowering trees...Perhaps they are monitoring the fruit cycle on the trees (??)
