As winter drags on Echinacea is often recommended as an herbal remedy used to boost the immune system against the common cold. At any rate just looking at images of summer Coneflowers, 'Echinacea' boosts my spirits.

The Cure are an English rock band formed in Crawley, West Sussex, in 1978. The band members have changed several times, with guitarist, lead vocalist, and songwriter Robert Smith being the only constant member. The band's debut album was Three Imaginary Boys (1979) and this, along with several early singles, placed the band in the post-punk and new wave movements that had sprung up in the United Kingdom. Beginning with their second album, Seventeen Seconds (1980), the band adopted a new, increasingly dark and tormented style, which, together with Smith's stage look, had a strong influence on the emerging genre of gothic rock as well as the subculture that eventually formed around the genre.
The band's original line-up featured vocalist and guitarist Robert Smith, bassist Michael Dempsey and drummer Lol Tolhurst. After the release and promotion of Three Imaginary Boys, Dempsey was replaced by Simon Gallup in November 1979.

The salted eel is a traditional food for the Chinese New Year in and around Shanghai.

Images taken in multi-scene apartment that I rent.
Took this sunrise picture over Cumberland in front of the Ottawa river from Petrie Island. Soon the river will freeze and we will have folks walk on its surface, set up a tent on it, dig a hole through it and ice-fish. I tried a fish caught here and its pleasantly sweet.
