Coded by yours truly.
For my latest build for the Cold War Collaboration at BrickFair Virginia, I wanted an Eastern block weapons system. I was looking for pictures of an East-German Scud launcher when I came across the "Rubezh" coastal defence system: a Soviet mobile anti-ship missile launcher that was in service with the East-German Navy until German reunification in 1990, on the Baltic coast. I wanted one!

I included working features, such as opening doors to the cab and the shelter. The missile launch tubes have doors at either end, that swing up. There isn't enough space in the launcher for a proper representation of the missiles, but I can put something inside that looks as though it's a missile.
The Rubezh (Russian for Frontier) uses a MAZ-543 chassis, like the Scud, but carries a larger trainable launcher for two massive SSC-3 "Styx" anti-ship missiles, as well as a radar and an armoured shelter for the operators. I think it looks stupendous.
The chassis on my model was largely derived from my Shahab-2/ Scud missile launcher. The superstructure is brand-new, however.
The SSC-3 "Syx" uses its own on-board radar for terminal guidance to its target. Finding the targets could be done by "Rubezh" with its own radar system, with a mast-mounted antenna. This had to be raised to enable it to detect targets below the horizon.
For transit, the radar antenna could be stowed and the missile launcher aligned with the chassis. It's a big-ass vehicle.
Although antiquated by now, Rubezh systems are still in service in several countries, including Ukraine, Syria and Romania.
The SSC-3 "Styx" missile was built in a number of different versions, with the first missiles entering service in the fifties. It was large, subsonic and had a somewhat limited range (roughly 80 km), but carried a large 1000 pound warhead; enough to ruin any ship's day.
The ebook edition of CSS3 for Web Designers has an added bonus, videos instead of images (where applicable).
Sorry, iBooks is the only reader to support videos at the moment, so these will only be seen if you're reading on an iPod/iPhone/iPad.
While it’s true that images, grids, and scaled size are extremely important when it comes to responsive website design, the typography – font styles, line length, size, spacing, etc – make a lot of difference too.
"And then poor old flickr decided there was nothing else left but to roll over and play dead. Yes finally under the colossal weight of a incomplete relaunch HTML5 had a meeting with CSS3, jumped into jQuery's smart new convertible - who'd thoughtfully left the engine running since Monday - and fucked off to the beach."

This is little preview for my upcoming project for the summer. I been wanting to do a documentary project since last year, so for which I been scouting location across the city to show what part of the city that meant the most to me. I believe that black and white pictures has a more profound impact on the viewers. Though this project won't get done till end of this summer, but i just want you guys to know what i gonna be working on.
Beside that i going to totally reconstruct my website from the ground up with the new HTML5/CSS3, also to include my other art work including Graphic Design and Painting.
Have a great day! I really wishing that Grizzlies win tonight!
