More than 500 employees enjoyed the workforce appreciation event for the Garrison and SOUTHCOM Headquarters March 17th. The United We Band themed-event featured artists performing on an Army Entertainment mobile stage for the first time. Comedian Ruperto Vanderpool, KES The Band, an up and coming So-Co act from Trinidad, and music by Jena Red made the area outside the Fitness Center an open air dance party. Generous sponsors provided food and drink samples, including the AWOL Café, MIA Brewery, Lincoln's Beard Brewing Co., Biscayne Bay Brewing Co., and Garrison FMWR all helped beat the heat with cool beverages.
