05-01-16. LMJ1206 starting her long journey back to Stockholm, Sweeden (ESSA) via Santa Maria, Azores (LPAZ) after some lucky & wealthy passengers spent 10 days in Costa Rica including New Year's Eve here. I recall seeing photos of this one when it was transferred from JetBlue (yes JetBlue!) to Masterjet in 2008 and wanting to spot her someday. Never thought this one would make herself to Costa Rica though!

The Classic Space Bubble Quad was a fast and fun way to travel across the moon. Its big tyres and independent suspension could easily cope with the deepest craters or roughest moon rocks. The bubble canopy afforded unrivalled visibility, though nobody ever worked out where the door was...

27-12-15. LMJ1206 (CS-TFY) arriving from Stockholm/Arlanda, Sweeden (ESSA) with two fuel stops in Ponta Delgada, Azores (LPPD) and Bermuda (TXKF). A completely unexpected visitor for me as well as this photo. I was in Liberia by the time this was to arrive and just thought it would be a waste to try and get any photos and settle for the return. I decided to head out and wait for her and the result was far better than I could ever imagine! Shot through the fence @ 1/50th, f2.8 & ISO2000. One of my best handheld night shots ever!
