These are miniature wooden cotton reels, from my craft stash, the smallest is about 2cm high and the largest about 5cm. HMM

A little crafty scene where scale has gone out of the window - the thread and reel are as they should be . The needles are much bigger than normal ( I think they are something to do with knitting rather than sewing a button on ) , and of course the little sewing machine is indeed little being less than 2 inches wide and set with diamonds - well they look like diamonds but are certainly not for the price than this little brooch cost !!

These are a couple of my wife’s leather craft test pieces, plus a couple tools of the trade!
Had a difficult time trying to level the bridge against the horizon. They bend at different rates. Took this a while back. Have been wondering if this Cosco Busan coming underneath the Golden Gate to dock at Oakland Port before it hit the Bay Bridge and spilt on it's way out. Probably not. We are getting into the autumn stellar sunset season in the SF Bay. SFBA expects!
I dont have a seperated craft room, this is a corner of my living room.
I spend the most of time handcrafting, working for my etsy shop here.
I organized some of my sewing/craft supplies by re-purposing an old bureau that came with our house. I removed the drawers that were falling apart, gave it a good scrub down and painted the bureau with a fresh coat of glossy white paint on the outside.
The little red vintage toolbox holds some of my sons crafting supplies. It's great because it's so portable for him to craft in any room.

The 1988 CSX Santa Train poses briefly atop Copper Creek Viaduct for the benefit of a small number of photographers. I was riding that year but got off at Fremont to join John Craft to get some shots along the line. I reboarded just ahead at Speers Ferry, which was still a stop then. The later version of the CSX paint scheme with the yellow nose probably looked better, but this one wasn't very bad. That dome car behind (former B&O "Moonlight Dome" is now in CSX's office car fleet).
