Dropped from shooting table. orz

Note the lack of RAM and Airport card. Not to worry as both are already installed in my existing iMac G4! :)

The mighty Zilog Z80 CPU inside of a Timex Sinclair 1000 (also known as the ZX81 outside the USA).

I bought this TS 1000 at the Cuyahoga Falls Hamfest earlier this month. Unfortunately, it's non-functional but it sure looks beautiful inside.

The Z80 CPU was very prolific and versions of it were used in lots of products that were household names like the Game Boy, the TI-83, the Pac-Man and Frogger arcade games, and the ColecoVision home game console. I think this may be the first time I've actually seen a real Z80 with my own eyes though.

You can observe damaged contact pins in the left side (darkened area)

4-CPU Configuration, due to electricity/power, only in single CPU operations, running UNICOS 8.x.

Got an older Intel CPU die from ebay to look at under the microscope. Grinding/dissolving to expose a die from a CPU was too much trouble, so I found someone selling these that never made it to being packaged.

I did a stress test on my iBook G4. This little iBook handles like no other. I had the stress test do the hardest test possible and i was running 4 safari windows, iChat ( was talking to people too), Mail, and iTunes. It ran perfect. It still ran increadibly smooth. I love this thing.

This is the inside view of my case.

I think that has a nice air flow, but i got high cpu temperatures, even at night

My new AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2.21GHz CPU - not top-of-the-range, but it should keep the PC going until I upgrade next year.

Inside view of the old Intel CPU80486DX.

A CPU on a DISC with light rays.

My new case is so well ventilated that it passes all the dust straight thru the fans and onto the CPU heatsink. Marvellous. This is 9 months worth of dust.

A look into a small computers "brain", seen through it's memory window. Window width is appr. 10mm.

taken with Schneider Componon-S50mm/2.8 @f5.6 and extension tubes.
