Recovering slow.. down but not out! Best part of this is I didnt have to wear a bra all week ! See you soon

COVID numbers are continuing to rise around the world. So many people are in lockdown and not able to get out, many have been sick and have had loved ones die, and so many, including me, who haven't been able to hug their families since the beginning of this pandemic. And we have no idea when the end is in sight, or if things will ever get back to "normal."

When I saw this little vine wrapped around a post in a nearby garden, I thought of how much all of us need a hug right about now. So I'm sending out a virtual hug to all of you.

Here's a song from one of my favourite bands, Walk of the Earth, that I think might give you a smile:

The Cathedral of the Transfiguration is a Catholic Byzantine house of worship named in honour of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ. The land on which the Cathedral stands was donated by the late Stephen Roman which "he built as a beacon of religious freedom". The Cathedral was modeled on a church in Novy Ruskov, the Slovak village where Mr. Roman was raised. Its cornerstone and altar stone were blessed by Pope John Paul II during his 1984 visit to Canada, marking this the first time a Roman Pontiff consecrated a church in North America. This was large for a Pearl so I thought from a distance it might be a Silvery checkerspot ... but just a large Pearl crescent on ragwort/butterweed. at the wetlands, North Georgia

Streets of Turkey - Coronavirus...

With Covid restrictions, it’s been a year since we last saw this little guy. He was only three months old at the time but we kept in touch via FaceTime and had to contend with some of the usual milestones virtually. I was wondering how he would manage the transition of seeing us in the flesh as opposed to on an iPad but he seems to be managing that just fine. It’s wonderful to see him wobbling along on his first steps independently.
