This corn field is located on top of a hill along one of my walking trails. The farmer had already harvested the corn but a few stalks were still standing.

Here's a view not far from the cottage I was staying in at Stoke-on-Trent in England.......talk about beautiful and peaceful! I had a fantastic time exploring this picturesque countryside.

After 4 months of frustration with injury I completed my first country walk today. About 10km. This was taken near Bolney. Sussex

We have perfect weather here today for a day down at the lake, but what I saw there yesterday made me decide to spend the day on my balcony instead... crowded beaches, camping sites full up, lots and lots of lovely fellow humans competing for the most extensive sunburn, not to mention other medical issues. Quarantine and lockdown made me forget how many of these people exist 😅
