Militārajās mācībās piedalījās kvalificēti apvienotās uguns drošības kontroles virsnieki no Latvijas. Mičiganas Gaisa nacionālās gvardes spējas palielināja vairāk nekā 6000 karavīru no astoņām valstīm, piedaloties “Northen Strike 19”.
“Northen Strike” ir daļa no nepārtrauktas apmaiņas programmas starp Mičiganas Gaisa nacionālo gvardi un Latvijas apvienotās uguns drošības kontroles virsniekiem. No 13. līdz 25. maijam Gaisa atbalsta kontrolieri no Greilingas poligona piedalījās militārajās mācībās “Summer Shield XVI”, kas norisinājās Latvijā. “Summer Shield XVI” piedalījās vairāk nekā 950 militārpersonu no 11 valstīm.
