Bedauerlicher Weise war es an dem Tag extrem windig, so dass ich nur mit großer Blende halbwegs wackelfreie Bilder hinbekommen habe. - Unfortunataly it was extremly windy that day. So had to use a high aperture to get a not to much blurred photograph.

The New York City skyline close to Times Square.

This photo was taken from "The Press Lounge", located at the roof top of the Ink48 Hotel on 11th Avenue and 48th Street. I was very impressed with the view of the city. It was taken with a small Sony RX100 M2. Be aware, tripods are not allowed.....

Took a day trip to chicago and, as usual, it was perfect.

Beautiful view of Dubai Marina from Palm Jumeira, The first man made island in the world.

Have just returned from incredible China. Here's Shanghai, the city that impresses much. Of course, it looks futuristic and powerful. But I'm not sure if I like such a future.

View from Speicherstadt towards St. Katharinen. The church tower from the 13th century is considered the oldest upright structure in Hamburg still in operation.

The second tower behind is St. Nikolai, a former main church in Hamburg that was destroyed in world war 2 but kept as memorial. The 147m-tall tower was the tallest building in the world from 1874 to 1876.
