Clouds hang low over the Houston skyline in the background, as BNSF 25th anniversary sticker unit #6179 leads office car special O-TULPEA2-07 south along UP's Houston West Belt Sub through the searchlights at Rusk, with CEO Katie Farmer and other executives aboard. The guests would de-train at Pearland Yard in the city's south side.

Corre.

Run towards those giants, run towards those arms that are not looking for caresses, run towards that castle for you to conquest and inside which centuries are waiting to chain you.
Run against the wind that doesn't share your intentions, run against the time that laughs before your face about your illusions, run against all those that get in the way of your movement in this one way only path.
Run, because this fire knows no borders, no laws, no warnings nor religion. This fire only wants to spread in your domain and becoming your only blessing.
Run.
The Transamerica building was commissioned by Transamerica CEO John (Jack) R. Beckett, with the claim that he wished to allow light in the street below. Built on the site of the historic Montgomery Block, it has a structural height of 853 ft (260 m) and has 48 floors of retail and office space.
Construction began in 1969 and finished in 1972, and was overseen by San Francisco-based contractor Dinwiddie Construction (now Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company).
I guess I better start working on my typing skills and dictation... lol.
Thanks Rafa for making me look so beautiful
This afternoon, I was able to get out and shoot the O LAUTOP pulling into Topeka with the BNSF 5541 and five cars in tow. Notably, BNSF's CEO, Katie Farmer was on board, and would eventually detrain at the platform in Topeka. As a result of COVID, the number of business trains on the move this past year has been dramatically lower, so with more and more people receiving their vaccinations, things are slowly returning back to normal.
Here, I'm looking south from 89th "St." on the north of Wakarusa, a few miles south of Topeka.

Perdido entre as árbores que me protexen das ondas.
Perdido entre as lembranzas que me protexen de ti.
Perdido entre tantos momentos que non sobran.
Daremos media volta e iremos onde non saiban de nós.

Lost among the trees that protect me from the waves.
Lost among the memories that protect me from you.
Lost among so many moments not to spare.
We'll go back to where nobody knows about us.

I had an amazing day and couldn't believe I was hanging out with the photographers I had stalked on flickr for the past years :') good times, I tell you, good times! I'd love to let the CEO of flickr know how many lives have been changed because of this website, it's truly inspiring.
I can't thank you for all your guys' support and your notes you send me, they always make my day! I hope to have some more time for photography soon and I can't wait to edit the piles and piles of folder which I've been collecting on my desktop over the past two months! :D
So far some of the shots I took have been used in Hello! and Okay! magazine which is pretty cool!!

They don’t have blood on their hands. They’ve got oil in their faces. While the world is making strides toward sustainable energy (wind, solar) CO2 emissions are still climbing. These three men represent the oil industry which is resisting the actions needed to slow and control climate change. Motive? Money. What else?
“Corporations are building new coal mines, oil rigs and gas pipelines. The government continues to award leases for drilling projects on public lands and in federal waters and still subsidizes the industries. After posting record profits last year, leading oil companies are backing away from recent promises to invest more heavily in renewable energy.” New York Times
Estás onda min esta noite na garda.
Estás á miña beira vestida cun veo de brétema.
As túas crenchas son bandeira de barco pirata
que navega co vento mareiro;
un misterio ilumina o teu sorriso
de pintores doutro tempo.
Os teus ollos cruzan turbios nos mapas.
A túa palabra é o orballo da mañá nas bordas.
Estás onda min esta noite. Aquí baixo o ceo inmenso do mar.
