I just read that yesterday was Carslbad Caverns National Park's 85th birthday. If I had known I would have posted this at that time. Anyway, a day late, but this was a shot I captured on our tour of the Big Room when we were there last month. The people in the shot provide a nice perspective for just how BIG the Big Room is. Per the CCNP website: "At about 8.2 acres in size, roughly 6.2 football fields would fit into the Big Room! It is definitely well-named as this is the largest single cave chamber by volume in North America."

My own modest Cisco lab. I tend to do most things in GNS3 (when setting up routing stuff) or packet tracer (when messing around with switching) these days as desktop CPU power and RAM are cheap and modern Cisco gear is expensive. But still, its great to fudge around with physical hardware in non-production environments once in a while.
I passed my CCNP ROUTE exam yesterday, thanks in part to messing around on this rig. Hurray!
Makes a godawful noise though ha ha. If you want to build up your own lab, I highly recommend shopping around on eBay, you can find everything from a single router to entire lab kits.
