These are pictures of the CCC Camp, during the construction of Hungry Mother State Park. They were donated to the Smyth County Genealogical Society by Kenny Sturgill.
Big washout along spur 140 extension. This is visible as a fresh scar in the 4/30/2009 Google Earth imagery and probably happened during the hard rain and floods of January, 2009.
CCC Worker by Chapter 7, NACCA at the entrance to Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison Colorado. The statue was dedicated to the 3 million worker with the Civilian Conservation Corps who built the Red Rocks Amphitheater from 1933-1942.

I was up early enough the first morning I was in Davis Mountains State Park to catch the moon setting. I made this image from the CCC Overlook in the park that overlooks Ft Davis, Texas.
