This was an experiment with a vintage Canon FD 17mm lens connected to my DSLR. The adaptor moves the focal plane and reduces the ability to focus on infinity. With most FD lenses on digital this is fine and just means you get a close up or macro lens.
But when you do this with a lens that is as wide as 17mm then you have no focal plane at all! This leaf is actually pressed against the front element of the lens with the lens focussed on infinity! So this is the best focus you can get with the object actually touching the lens! Never tried this before.
Profundo cañón calizo formado por una antigua e intensa erosión fluvial del río Lobos. Se sitúa en las sierras de pie de monte que separan las estribaciones de la Cordillera Ibérica y la alta meseta del Duero. El río se encajona desde Burgos y continúa horadando las calizas cretácicas en Soria recorriendo más de 25 km.
Este espacio natural fue declarado Parque Natural en 1985 y comprende una superficie de 9580 has.
La formación más espectacular es el propio Cañón fruto de la doble acción erosiva, de desgaste y, sobre todo, de disolución de la roca por el agua, siendo más vivo el hundimiento del lecho al ceder las grutas subterráneas, por lo que aparecen las típicas zonas cóncavas o lermas en los flancos del cañón, que además son muy vistosas por los teñidos de óxidos y aguas que escurren.

Questa mattina ho provato a ritrarre le simpatiche cincie che rallegrano il nostro giardino, con la loro presenza, durante i mesi invernali. Le vedevo dalla finestra della cucina, ma se appena facevo tanto di uscire se la filavano come frecce. Allora mi è venuta una brillante idea...mi sono mimetizzato. Mi sono buttato in testa una vecchia coperta, mi sono avvicinato all'acero e ho atteso pazientemente. La pazienza mi ha premiato! Sicuramente, chi mi avrà visto, passando dal parcheggio di fronte a casa mia, si sarà fatto quattro risate, pensando che fossi pazzo...ma sono riuscito ad avere il mio ritratto della simpatica cincia.!! :))
