Actually, I can. Beyond the marshes, the far spot of blue is the southern edge of my lake.
The wind is howling and snow is blowing all over the place right now, so I couldn't help but think of summertime wildflowers. For Sliders Sunday, they were edited with an effect and colour saturation in Topaz Studio. I hope you enjoy! HSS!

It sure was nice to hit the sand and to find a Piping Plover early in the season. Tougher getting up, but well worth it for shots like this of such a cute little bird. Barnegat Lighthouse State Park NJ.
Rosellas are in a genus that consists of six species and nineteen subspecies. These colourful parrots from Australia are in the genus Platycercus. Platycercus means broad-tailed or flat-tailed, reflecting a feature common to the rosellas and other members of the broad-tailed parrot tribe. Their diet is mainly seeds and fruit. There are, broadly speaking, three groups of rosella species. They are the blue-cheeked species which includes elegans and caledonicus, the white-cheeked species, eximius, adscitus and venustus and the yellow-cheeked species, icterotis. 36764
