Its been a while! Lots been going on.
Anyway, our DnD campaign finished, and i thought i would commemorate with an epilogue-ish photo. So, here's my water genasi, enjoying the spoils of her travels with her trusty tressym by her side.

One of Québec’s last great rivers, the Magpie is under imminent threat from mega damming and hydroelectric development.
Still relatively intact (in 2008 a controversial dam was constructed at the river mouth), it is considered to be among the top ten rivers in the world for white water recreational tourism according to National Geographic.

Heimdal Glacier in southern Greenland, in an image captured on Oct. 13, 2015, from NASA Langley Research Center's Falcon 20 aircraft flying 33,000 feet above mean sea level.
NASA’s Operation IceBridge, an airborne survey of polar ice, recently finalized two overlapping campaigns at both of Earth’s poles. Down south, the mission observed a big drop in the height of two glaciers situated in the Antarctic Peninsula, while in the north it collected much needed measurements of the status of land and sea ice at the end of the Arctic summer melt season.
This was the first time in its seven years of operations that IceBridge carried out parallel flights in the Arctic and Antarctic. Every year, the mission flies to the Arctic in the spring and to Antarctica in the fall to keep collect an uninterrupted record of yearly changes in the height of polar ice.

Unlike many other longer and more strenuous trails in the Shenandoah National Park, the Fox Hollow Trail is short and easy with just a gradual and very moderate elevation gain. 310 feet is below average for this park where most trails starting along the Skyline Drive drop into the valleys around in a much steeper fashion ... #etbtsy

Continung the theme of oblique photos (I seem to be taking quite a few recently), here's the rarely used rail tracks down in Bristol Harbour.
I particularly like the fact that the tracks look like they have been tied into a bow.

Near Wakool, NSW, We are nearing the end of a national election campaign in Australia. This is but one of the myriad of signs appearing around Australia at the moment but I love the originality of the background even if the sign itself is not particularly original. The hot issue in this electorate (where I am not voting) is water and many farmers will be supporting Kevin Mack.
