I had the shutter speed set high for this photo -- I wanted to capture an exact moment in time and I think I did a decent job doing this. Although I got covered in snow half a second after taking this picture, I think it was worth it. I was able to sneak out of town for a day and went down the Bluewood with my little brother, Cam.
Cam is our salty cat!! Although if you met him, you\'d think he\'s a dog! He greets you at the door tail going crazy begging to be picked up. He loves playing fetch, tag, And taking up 90% of the bed. He is the best!
Kodak Junior 620 renovation. Next to unscrew the front lens element. Before doing it I marked the 12 o'clock position on the lens frame, adjacent to the focus marker blade, so as to record where the lens screws back upto, when at infinity. And also to use it as a marker to record the point where it leaves the thread when removing. It can be important to re-screw it in place starting from the same spot as where it came undone. This is to ensure correct focusing. The lens and housing threads had been well greased. The grease was not too bad and quite fluid, so I decided to leave as be. The lens element was carefully cleaned with alcohol and cotton buds. Whilst removed I took the opportunity to also clean the middle lens element in situ, rather than struggle to remove it.
