Searching for a rabbit
The stoat is a small predator, (Males c300 mm; females c250 mm) with a long, low-slung body that makes it particularly well suited to hunting small rodents and rabbits. It can easily kill an adult rabbit, which is much larger than itself, with a bite to the base of the skull. Stoats are active by day and night, and are easiest to spot in open habitats, such as sand dunes, grassland and heathland.

El Rancho has been a landmark on US 40 since 1947. When I-70 was built, the highway department named the exit after the place. The town of Evergreen has since swallowed the land around what was once, a somewhat remote mountain getaway.
It has one of the best views of the Continental Divide in America, according to some. Over the years, a succession of families ran the restaurant. Now, it's the Vincent family who are keeping the tradition alive. Ken and Larry met a couple of the family members when we shot this scene. They even volunteered to move their vehicles from the front of the building to make our job easier. The Vincent family added brewing equipment to the place, which we hid with the tractor trailer rig. [The brewing silo wasn't period]
As luck would have it, by the time you read this, El Rancho will have reopened with a new menu and a remodel. If you hurry, you might be able to reserve a table, outside in the Beer Garden or inside in the newly refurbished dinning room.
Why "El Rancho in the Clouds"? On that day, the one24thscale team was working inside a cloud bank that hung along the front range.
We were not in fog as our Michigan car friends would know it. We had both driven up Mt Vernon Canyon into the bottom of a cloud that was clinging to that first ridge. The world closed in as the walls of the canyon disappeared. All the landmarks on a stretch of highway everyone in Colorado knows by heart, were gone. The famous, "Sleeper" House, somewhere in the cloud on the left. Chief Hosa Campground, just a sign that loomed out of the mist and was gone. The exits for both, Buffalo Bill's Grave and the Genesee Bison Herd were spectral images that dissolved in and out of view as traffic went by. The fabulous, award winning view of the Continental Divide seen under the Genesee Bridge? The bridge was invisible, though the view beyond was still there, in my mind's eye.

I swear, ONE day I WILL get a decent shot of X4A… After a runway change to 07, they were on 16L/R, there wasn’t much time at all to position to get a decent shot of ‘Broccoli’ so these will do for my ‘first time appearance’ at Sydney Airport.

Naveco C300 motorhome in Bonn, Germany.
A photo from the days when motorhomes from China could be spotted in European cities with some luck. This particular campervan is based on a Naveco C300, produced by the joint-venture of Iveco and Nanjing Automobile and hails from Xi'an.
The age of new passenger jet travel is here. With the shape of the aircrafts all changing to a similar shape of the Boeing 787, new aircrafts are now appearing. The C300 is no exception. HN - JBA of Swiss is a firm example of the new regional, short haul aircraft of the 21st Century. The C300 of SWISS is set to enter regular commercial service this week.

Cardiff set C300 comprising 53122, 59030 and 53080 is arriving at Taffs Well with the 12.55 Treherbert to Cardiff service.
The picture is taken from the station footbridge, therefore it does not show the splendid signal box which is off to the left. . Mechanical signals are in very much in use. The line off to the right was only used as a reversing loop by this time, it was previously the line to Nantgarw colliery and coke works.
It is sobering to think that the toddler in his push chair is now in his 30's.

A bit new for me but I thought this looked brilliant, I'd seen pictures online of the C-Class coupe and I thought it looked a bit dumpy, but in real life it looks great
