May 8, 2015 - The Spring Joint Commissioning Ceremony (Army and Air Force ROTC programs) took place at Memorial Hall on the University of Kentucky campus. We were fortunate to have one of UK’s distinguished professors, Brigadier General (R) Dwayne Ray Edwards, Professor in the Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Department, as our guest speaker. Following the ceremony, the newly commissioned 2LTs were given the opportunity to receive their First Salutes near the flag pole in front of the UK Main Building, and then enjoy refreshments with their family members at Buell Armory.
